I visited Mum yesterday and dropped off 2 new pairs of pyjamas, which I handed over to one of your team members for labelling. I must say a big thanks to you and your team. My mum already looks a lot better in herself within 1 week, plus her hair looks a lot better than it has for a long time.

Ron and I wanted to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for all of the help, support, and care everyone gave Mum and us during our relatively short stay at White Lodge. We always had the reassurance that Mum was safe, warm, and being looked after, compared to the concern we had for her when she was living on her own. Ron and I would be grateful if you would pass on our thanks to everyone else.

Thank you. I had a lovely welcome yesterday when I brought family in to see Mum. Becky kindly took the photos, as you know; thank you for passing them on. Mena kindly brought us some refreshments, toast, and biscuits to eat. It was quite a nice surprise. You always bring me tea, but it was kind of her for many of us.

I still can’t believe this happened today! I had to see it with my own eyes. 8 months in bed, and suddenly, out of the blue, he’s up, dressed and upstairs with everyone. Thank you all so much for the photo and for letting us know Dad was up and about today. It meant the world to me and Harriet. A day we never expected!! To see Dad able to see the sun and the rain outside the window - magical.

I meant to say to you this morning what a wonderful job your cleaning team do. This is not the norm, believe me, most homes do have distinct smells... A big thank you to Georgina, who looks after mum's clothes beautifully, she and her team do an amazing job, so could you please say a big thank you to them all. I am sure they do not always get the praise they deserve.

Please thank Veronica for putting the plans/logistics in place and Emma for her amazing help and support on the day. We left the chocolate sponge birthday cake for the staff and residents to enjoy, as well as the few leftover mini cupcakes, it was just a little token to show our appreciation to all of you and involve the other residents in celebrating Mum's landmark birthday.
